Perform the administrative duties for the human resource function in a just in time, lean manufacturing environment. Incumbents in this classification are responsible for interviewing and training employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, assisting in policy and procedure development; and processing, verifying, and maintaining, and developing documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
 

Position Specific Requirements
Required:                  
  ]Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability 
  ]Effective oral and written communication skills
  ]Administrative or generalist  experience
  ] Demonstrated  organizational skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and analytical skills
  ] Must have Positive Employee Relations experience i.e. working with hourly employees and conducting investigations
  ] Knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration
  ] Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment
Preferred:  
  ]Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Core Responsibilities:
  ]Supports the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department
  ] Explains company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
  ] Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions
  ] Performs employee advocate functions such as responding to questions pertaining to benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, retirement plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
  ] Records data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, logistics, absences, counseling issues, and dates of and reasons for terminations
  ]Completes paperwork and reports as required or requested with due diligence
  ]Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
  ] All other duties as assigned
                   
  ]Knowledge Quality Systems on Automotive industry quality system requirements (i.e. IATF16949, VDA6.1/6.3, ISO 9001, CCC)


Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
