Legal Assistant – Full-Time
Location: Honolulu, HI
Salary Range: $60K-85K per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as needed)

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our attorneys with document management, case coordination, and client communications. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Document Management

  • Format, edit, and transmit legal documents in digital and hard copy

  • Draft letters and legal filings

  • Review and route correspondence and reports

Communication and Coordination

  • Manage internal and external communications

  • Schedule meetings, court reporters, and expert witnesses

  • Prepare charts, visuals, and expense reports

Calendar and Case Management

  • Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines

  • Track court dates, filings, and evidence

  • Docket information using CompuLaw

File and Account Management

  • Open and close client accounts and perform conflict checks

  • Maintain accurate case files in FileSite

  • Coordinate off-site storage and file purging

Timesheet Management

  • Enter and verify attorney timesheets in LMS

  • Resolve discrepancies with attorneys

What You Bring

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a legal assistant

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal terminology, and law office procedures

  • Strong organizational skills, discretion, and a proactive mindset

  • High school diploma required; college or business school preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent sitting, walking, and typing

  • Occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
