Job Summary:

Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a Line Cook, offering a competitive pay rate of $18-$19/hr. The Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Sous Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations.
- Prepare food, including cleaning and cutting ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks.
- Plate prepared foods based on the senior chef’s guidance.
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed according to requests and on time.
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils, and store equipment at the end of shifts.
- Ensure that kitchen operations and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong organization and active listening skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Skilled in performing basic food preparation tasks, including cutting meat, mixing sauces, chopping vegetables, combining herbs and spices, and portioning dishes.
- Ability to translate instructions into finished products.
- Knowledge of safe and proper methods for operating kitchen appliances and utensils.
- Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of cooking experience.
- Must be 21 or older and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
