Join a global leader in advanced materials manufacturing! We’re seeking a Logistics Coordinator to optimize and enhance logistics operations across domestic, international, and intercompany channels. This is a high-impact role for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with deep international trade experience and strong regulatory knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the company’s logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective movement of goods.
Lead strategy development and process improvements for all modes of transportation (LTL, FTL, LCL, FCL).
Analyze transportation and customs regulations to maintain accurate ERP and shipping documentation.
Collaborate with internal departments (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Customer Service) and external providers (3PLs, brokers, forwarders).
Handle tariff classifications, HTS code rulings, and ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including AES/EEI filings and incoterms.
Oversee forecasting, sourcing, and vendor negotiations for global shipments.
Maintain and audit logistics records, NMFC codes, certificates of origin, and other export/import documentation.
Advise on Harmonized Tariff Code (HTC) determinations and maintain the company’s global classification database.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in international logistics and compliance (Ocean & Air Imports/Exports).
Strong knowledge of HTS classification, Incoterms, Dangerous Goods (DG), NMFC codes, and AES/EEI filing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment.
