Logistics Specialist – Day Shift | Suffolk, VA
Shift: 10:00 AM to Close (approx. 6:30–7:00 PM, with OT possible until 8:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday (Sunday off; second day off discussed during interview)
Adecco is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support day-to-day logistics operations for a major client. You’ll handle order entry, routing, dispatch, and delivery coordination to ensure exceptional service and on-time performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers, delivery teams, and business partners via phone/email
Track deliveries and assist with routing and dispatch
Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally
Process delivery changes, cancellations, and documentation
Check in drivers and verify product returns
Maintain delivery records and update internal systems
Qualifications:
1+ year logistics or transportation experience
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Customer service mindset with issue-resolution ability
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay Details: $18.50 per hour
