💰 Pay Rate: $19.60/hour
Are you ready to join a fast-paced production team and work with a hands-on manufacturing process? We’re hiring a Production Operator to support our mix room operations in Independence, OR. This is a temporary assignment with full-time hours and mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a computer-controlled production system handling multiple raw materials
Coordinate with material handlers and heavy equipment operators to maintain production flow
Ensure shakers (mixers) are filled and running efficiently
Load and verify correct roll stock onto machines
Perform machine adjustments to meet quality and quantity standards
Conduct quality checks (weight, volume, etc.)
Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping and clearing accumulated materials
Accurately complete production documentation
Communicate any equipment issues to maintenance staff
Always follow strict safety protocols
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to read/follow instructions in English
Comfortable working in dusty, hot, cold, or rainy environments
Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for long periods
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
Reliable and safety-conscious team player
