We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in the production of poured and molded products in Lewiston, Maine. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Fantastic Schedule! Monday through Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery involved in the production of poured and molded products.
Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products.
Inspect products for defects and maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably with poured and molded products( but not required).
Basic understanding of machinery operation
Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational or technical training in machine operation or related field.
Experience with specific types of molding or pouring equipment relevant to our industry.
Certifications in machine operation or safety standards.
