Machine Operator
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Manufacturing Associate jobs. This is a 2-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion, located at Los Angeles, CA.
This position requires experience in clean manufacturing, physical stamina, and some forklift experience. Ideal candidates will be comfortable lifting 50 lbs., working on their feet, and operating in a fast-paced, hands-on production setting. Forklift experience is preferred but not required—we’ll train the right associates!
Responsibilities for a Manufacturing Associate include but are not limited to:
The role involves moving bottles in a general warehouse setting—handling 5-gallon jugs, water bottles, and repetitive bending and twisting movements.
Operate, clean, changeover, and troubleshoot production equipment (fillers, labelers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, forklifts)
Record preventative maintenance, inspection data, downtime, and production metrics
Perform hourly quality checks and ensure raw material compliance
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and other teams to maximize efficiency
Maintain cleanliness and safety of workstations and comply with EHS standards
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse roles
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills; SAP experience a plus
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Forklift experience preferred, but training is available
Must be able to work in variable temperatures and factory environments
