We are seeking a skilled CNC Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of CNC programmers, machinists, fabrication, and inspection personnel. This leadership role requires a hands-on expert with a deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, and production planning. The Supervisor will work closely with the Engineering Department to oversee operations, schedule work efficiently, maintain material readiness, and uphold quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily activities for CNC programming, machine tools, fabrication, and inspection teams.
- Develop part specifications and produce sketches from general descriptions.
- Review and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine machining processes, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and programmers to resolve machining or assembly issues.
- Schedule and prioritize personnel and work center activities to ensure timely order completion.
- Confirm material availability and sequence production effectively.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise and support machine setup and trial runs to verify accuracy of settings and programmed data.
- Ensure conformance of finished products to specifications using precision inspection methods.
- Maintain inventory and care of machine tools, fixtures, fluids, accessories, and overhead hoists.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Lead training and onboarding efforts for new employees.
- Estimate production times for components based on historical data or skill.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of machinist trade, materials, tooling, and CNC machine operations.
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
- Competence with CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Experience with GLOBAL SHOP SOLUTIONS or equivalent ERP software.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to interpret complex technical documents and production drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
