Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to assemble, arrange, and maintain production machines (CNC) in our manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient machine operations, quality production, and adherence to safety standards. NOTE -
This position is 2nd shift: 330PM - 12AM
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up production machines following prints and specifications, including lathes, grinders, and mills.
Choose, align, and securely attach holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and other materials.
Perform machine changeovers and adjustments in an accurate, timely manner.
Study blueprints, layouts, or charts to visualize work sequence of operations, dimensions, and tooling instructions.
Apply mathematical knowledge to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
Identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls to correct errors.
Troubleshoot machine and set-up issues, making necessary corrections.
Inspect and measure completed production units to ensure quality standards.
Start or restart equipment after power outages or interruptions.
Maintain a clean and safe production area.
Train others as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including kaizen, quality, and cycle time reduction.
Adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 years of CNC experience required
Associates degree in Manufacturing/Technical Programming, completion of a full apprenticeship program, or equivalent company training preferred.
Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
Strong understanding of production equipment and machining processes.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows.
Knowledge of coolant and cutting oils.
Minimum of one year of experience as a fully qualified Machine Set-Up Operator preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Normal, corrective vision range; ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols.
Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, talking, and hearing.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
