Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Location: Cromwell, CT
Assignment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation: $19 -$20/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities team during a series of office moves and general maintenance tasks. This short-term role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in light industrial or facilities support work.?
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with setting up and breaking down office furniture and equipment
Move items between offices and storage areas
Perform light painting and touch-up work as needed
Support the maintenance team with general upkeep tasks
Ensure workspaces are clean, safe, and organized?
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance procedures
Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions?
Additional Information:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and dress code requirements will be communicated prior to the start date
Background check required; no exceptions
This position requires physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy items
Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
