Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Location: Cromwell, CT

Assignment Type: Contract

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation: $19 -$20/hour

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities team during a series of office moves and general maintenance tasks. This short-term role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in light industrial or facilities support work.?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting up and breaking down office furniture and equipment

  • Move items between offices and storage areas

  • Perform light painting and touch-up work as needed

  • Support the maintenance team with general upkeep tasks

  • Ensure workspaces are clean, safe, and organized?

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely

  • Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periods

  • Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance procedures

  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions?

Additional Information:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and dress code requirements will be communicated prior to the start date

  • Background check required; no exceptions

  • This position requires physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy items



Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
