Maintenance Controls Technician – Urbana, OH
Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Maintenance Controls Technician position with a growing manufacturer in the Urbana area. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong automation and electrical controls experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair issues related to PLCs, HMIs, servos, VFDs, and control wiring

Support automation projects and machine upgrades, including programming and electrical improvements

Perform diagnostic checks and preventive maintenance on control systems

Write operating instructions and maintain detailed documentation

Monitor system performance and respond to downtime issues quickly

Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain spare parts inventory

Follow GMP and food safety standards throughout all work
What We’re Looking For:

Experience with PLC and HMI troubleshooting and programming

Familiarity with 480V, 230V, 120VAC, and 24VDC systems

Strong understanding of VFD wiring and setup

Ability to read electrical schematics and solve control-related issues
-
Positive, professional attitude with strong problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $23.00 to $33.00 per hour
