Job Title: Maintenance Repair Technician
Location: East Windsor, CT
Schedule: 2nd Shift / Split Shift (Training on 1st Shift Required)
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site | Overtime May Be Required
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Repair Technician to support our plant operations. This role is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure. Candidates must be available to work a 2nd or split shift and be willing to train on 1st shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals
Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand tools
Respond to off-hour alarms and emergencies
Work safely in potentially hazardous areas (e.g., chemical, thermal spray, heat treat rooms)
Stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2–3 years of experience in maintenance or mechanical repair in a manufacturing setting
Basic skills in electrical wiring, plumbing, welding, and fabrication
Ability to read schematics and diagnose mechanical/electrical issues
Must pass forklift and scissor lift certification
Flexibility to work overtime with little notice
Preferred:
Technical or trade school training
Experience with specialized environments (chemical, thermal spray, heat treat)

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
