Maintenance Technician

Adecco is assisting their client in their search for a Maintenance Technician in Columbia, SC.

Location: Off Olympia Avenue at Rosewood Drive in Columbia, SC. Make sure this drive works for you.

Pay: $18.00 to $18.00.hr

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal performance through regular upkeep, troubleshooting breakdowns, and coordinating repairs with supervisors and managers.

• Assist in upgrading existing equipment and installing new machinery as part of planned projects.

• Help maintain our proactive maintenance program to prevent downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.

• Handle electrical issues ranging from 24VDC control to 480VAC 3 ph industrial systems.

• Address safety concerns, maintain emergency lighting, and uphold lock out tag out procedures and other safety protocols.

• Maintain building grounds, perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed.

• Keep track of repair parts and shop supplies to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Experience: Three years in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; skilled crafts or trades training preferred.

Skills: Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with mechanical tools, electrical test equipment, and reading blueprints.

Tools: Must have own mechanic's tools.

Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
