Position: Maintenance Technician
Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift

Job Summary:
A growing manufacturing company in Milwaukee is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team on 2nd or 3rd shift. This is a direct hire opportunity offering $25–$35/hr based on experience. The ideal candidate will have both mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise to support plant operations, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure optimal performance across production lines.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery and systems

Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment

Assist operators and support production when needed

Install and maintain electrical/electronic systems in the plant

Fabricate, machine, and repair parts as necessary

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Support special projects (e.g., installations, modifications, safety improvements)

Available for on-call support when required

Maintain spare parts inventory and follow AIB guidelines

Follow NFPA 70 and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience:

3+ years’ experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance

Background in printing, extrusion, or converting equipment is a plus

Proficient in pipe installation (copper, black iron, PVC, etc.)

Skilled in operating machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
-
Comfortable working in a high-decibel, fast-paced environment
