Maintenance Technician

Adecco is hiring immediately for Maintenance Technicians at a local client in Patterson, NJ. Maintenance Technicians do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with rates starting at $20.00/hr., plus available overtime. In this role, you will perform general property maintenance and basic repairs—including light carpentry, painting, and changing light bulbs, while also assisting with household cleaning and delivering supplies to programs within the complex.

Requirements: 

 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• 1+ years’ related work experience 

• Maintain current certifications and up to date with industry standards and best practices 

• Ability to perform basic building maintenance and plumbing repairs 

• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making 

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions 

• Communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and in writing 

• Must be able to work independently 

• Must be committed to delivering excellent customer service and contributing to overall client satisfaction 

• Must always maintain client confidentiality 

• Ability to work collaboratively with management and team members to support program goals 

• Willingness to work flexible hours and remain on-site as needed to complete essential tasks, including extra time or responding to emergency situations  

• Must follow all personnel policies, including those related to attendance and punctuality 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and alternate between sitting/standing throughout shift 

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
