Adecco is currently helping our client find Entry-Level, Long-Term Career Opportunities in Union City, Ohio. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity.
The long-term goal for this position is to transition into the Maintenance LEAD for the Union City location.
Our client is an Aluminum Casting & Machining manufacturer located in Ohio and Indiana.
We currently have an opening for a Day Shift Maintenance position that would be responsible to provide support on all areas of mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities include the following:
Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires.
Converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to determine what the root cause of the issue is.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as greasing, cleaning, and repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.
Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.
Repair and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn parts.
Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
Other various maintenance tasks
KEY Requirements:
Must be able to efficiently troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
Must understand and practice preventative maintenance.
High School diploma and/or equivalent required.
3-6+ years Maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with Conveyors, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, & General Maintenance.
** Pay is based on Experience and Negotiable
** Electrical and Welding Experience preferred
