Adecco is currently assisting a local client fill a Material Handler position for their first shift. Primarily responsible are packaging products and pulling inventory from racked locations. Receiving materials into the business software system. This is a full-time position with overtime potential. Additional responsibilities include safely loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for packaging and entering purchase orders for outside services
• Create advanced shipping notices for applicable customers
• Identify non-conforming parts and initiate the Quality Hold Form (QHF) process when necessary
• Assist with packaging production
• Receive and verify all direct and indirect materials
• Operate a forklift
• Prepare and participate in physical inventory
• Issue work orders, which may involve operating a saw, retrieving raw material, and issuing components
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor/manager, including assisting in other areas as needed
Experience
0-3 years
KSA's
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Needs to have the ability to perform minimal data entry/clerical tasks
• Effectively read, write and communicate in English; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to visually sort product for defects in a sitting position
