Material Handler

Adecco is hiring immediately for Entry Level Material Handlers at our client site in Newark, DE. Material Handlers do essential jobs with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, with starting pay at $19.25/hr., plus available overtime. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for verifying, labeling, and stocking incoming deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting equipment maintenance, coordinating with purchasing department on supply levels, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring warehouse efficiency and safety through procedures and training.  
 
Requirements: 

 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• This position is entry-level no experience necessary 

• Prior warehouse and manufacturing experienced preferred 

• Experience and certification in forklift operation preferred 

• Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment and Lean Manufacturing systems 

• Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferred 

• Preferred experience with Oracle 

• Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination 

• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships 

• Basic computer skills 

• Basic mathematical skills 

• Basic hand tool experience 

• Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines 

• Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization 

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks 

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. 

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
