We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will support healthcare providers by handling both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the facility and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for exams and treatments

Record vital signs and medical histories

Comply with all safety and health regulations

Perform phlebotomy and collect lab samples

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
-
Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures

Administer medications and injections as directed

Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system
-
Educate and support patients
Required Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
-
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred

At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant

Skilled in phlebotomy and administering injections
-
Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., EClinicalWorks)

BLS certification
-
Excellent critical reasoning
-
Experience working with geriatric population (preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
