A Micro Lab Technician role in Hodges, SC is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. In this position, you will be responsible for performing chemical and physical testing on raw materials, work-in-process and finished product samples to ensure quality and safety of consumers. This is a minimum 1-year temp/contract position starting in early May 2025. The hourly pay rate is $21.00/hr.

 

Shift:

The work hours are from 2:00pm-12:30pm with a 30-minute lunch

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

 

Job Responsibilities:

· Remove the finished goods cases from conveyors and position them on the finished goods pallet in the correct formation.

· Follow the SKU pallet pattern specification. Position interlayers sheets, corner posts, pallet tops as needed.

· Manually load bottles/barrels onto conveyors or into pucks.

· Use hand-tape to seal the open finished goods cases as needed.

· Check the presence of the SKU label on the finished goods cases and segregate the cases with missing labels. Ensures that the correct amounts of product are in each case.

· Run the manual pallet stretch wrapper as needed.

· Keep areas clean and in order according to 5S area requirements.

· Monitor equipment and inform Personnel if there is a fault or issue with the equipment or quality of the product.

· Watch for defective bottles/barrels on the line (e.g. no product/empty, product on sides of bottles/barrels, missing labels, missing caps, etc.)

· Watch for fallen bottles/shippers/barrels/pucks to prevent jams and machine stoppage.

· Load packaging materials into hoppers/magazines (e.g. caps, shippers, pumps, etc.)

· Use powered equipment to move finished goods and materials.

· Clear jams and restart equipment. If there is a fault present, notify Colgate-Palmolive Personnel.

· Perform cleaning activities on exterior equipment surfaces and conveyors when stopped.

· Proactively keep the area clean of product and debris.

 

Required:

· High School Diploma or Associates Degree in Chemistry or related field.

· Minimum of 1-year of laboratory experience.

· Working knowledge and practical experience with cGMP and FDA regulations in a chemistry laboratory environment.

· Proficient knowledge of computer and computer software: Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
