Adecco is assisting a top-rated healthcare organization known for clinical excellence and innovation in patient care in recruiting for an MRI Technologist. This is a contract assignment for 3 months (with potential to hire) located in Seattle, WA.
Job Summary:
This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a collaborative and patient-centered healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be ARRT certified with experience in MRI scanning, IV contrast administration, and EMR documentation. The position is suited for someone who is committed to safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans using approved imaging protocols based on the patient's condition and physician orders
Screen patients for contraindications, including metal implants or prior surgical procedures
Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety, comfort, and cooperation during scans
Start IVs and administer contrast agents as needed
Evaluate image quality and collaborate with physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment, adhering to infection control standards
Conduct MRI quality control checks and ensure all documentation meets medical and compliance standards
Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Completion of an ARRT-approved imaging technology program
ARRT (MR) certification required
Active Washington state license
Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI required
Siemens MRI experience is a plus
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4x10s (day shift)
Pay: $30.26–$47.37/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Pay Details: $30.00 to $47.00 per hour
