Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Document Processing & Scanning Specialist to support document preparation, electronic file conversion, and media output for client delivery. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client requests.


4+ month assignment, $21.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, prioritize, and prepare documents for scanning, indexing, blowbacks, electronic stamping, and file conversion.

  • Perform quality checks throughout the document lifecycle to ensure accuracy and compliance with client specifications.

  • Output processed documents and files to specified delivery formats including single/multi-page TIFF, OCR, PDF, email, CD, DVD, or custom load files.

  • Fulfill blowback requests efficiently and accurately, adhering to client timeframes and formatting requirements.

  • Maintain scanner performance through routine maintenance (e.g., lens cleaning) and report mechanical issues as needed.

  • Track document intake and output by logging boxes in/out for scanning and recording objective and bibliographic details.

  • Generate barcodes and ensure adherence to document preparation and handling procedures.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.


Requirements:

  • Previous scanning experience in a high-volume or document processing environment preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of electronic file formats (TIFF, PDF, OCR, etc.) and data handling.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures and timelines.

  • Comfortable using general office equipment and computer systems.

  • Ability to lift boxes and handle physical document prep, when needed.

  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when required.


Special Skills:

  • Experience with scanning and imaging software

  • Familiarity with data indexing and document management systems

  • General office and administrative experience
     



Pay Details: $21.50 per hour
