We are searching for an Onsite Customer Service Specialist with AR/AP skills. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced professional to join our team in a dual role supporting both customer service and basic accounting functions. You will be working onsite in Mechanic Falls, Maine.
Position Summary:
This full-time position is split evenly between two key responsibilities:
Customer Service: handling incoming calls and emails, entering documents, and supporting general office communication.
Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (AR/AP): processing invoices, managing payments, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email professionally and promptly
Enter and manage customer orders and documentation
Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed
AR/AP
Process vendor invoices
Reconcile statements and maintain accurate financial records
Support month-end closing and reporting
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment issues
Qualifications:
Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and AR/AP
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with accounting software preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time across two functional areas
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
