We are searching for  an Onsite Customer Service Specialist with AR/AP skills.  We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced professional to join our team in a dual role supporting both customer service and basic accounting functions.   You will be working onsite in Mechanic Falls, Maine.

Position Summary:
This full-time position is split evenly between two key responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: handling incoming calls and emails, entering documents, and supporting general office communication.

  • Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (AR/AP): processing invoices, managing payments, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email professionally and promptly

  • Enter and manage customer orders and documentation

  • Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed

AR/AP

  • Process vendor invoices

  • Reconcile statements and maintain accurate financial records

  • Support month-end closing and reporting

  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment issues

Qualifications:

  • Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and AR/AP

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with accounting software preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time across two functional areas

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, full-time (40 hours/week)

  • Daytime hours only

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
