POSITION OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the strategic, financial, and administrative health of DWP. This leader will manage day-to-day operations, optimize internal systems, and support the organization’s ability to scale its impact while maintaining alignment with mission-centered values.
This position will report to the Vice President, Finance and Operations. A summary of key responsibilities is listed below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology, Infrastructure & Data Management
?
Manage IT systems, workflow automation, and operational tools to improve efficiency
?
Ensure infrastructure supports accessibility, data security, and smooth administrative processes
?
Lead efforts to enhance digital systems for grantmaking, donor engagement, and program delivery through Salesforce
?
Serve as organizational administrator for Salesforce, supporting organizational compliance and high-quality data management and reporting
?
Perform data entry for gifts and donor information in Salesforce to ensure accurate record-keeping and reconciliation with accounting
?
Coordinate between finance, development and programs departments to reconcile data
?
Oversee the Google Drive file management system to maintain organization and accessibility
?
Manage all virtual and in-person office technology, including software platforms and digital tools
Financial Oversight & Resource Management
?
Partner with finance teams to manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
?
Oversee grant administration, financial compliance, and resource allocation to ensure accountability and effectiveness
?
Oversee the regular generation and dissemination of department budget reports to team leads
?
Generate grant financial reports for funders
?
Manage financial components of DWP events, including including venue payments, travel coordination, and expense tracking
?
Coordinate contracts and payments for consultants and external advisors
?
Manage the DWP travel booking platform, ensuring adherence to travel policies
?
Support the review of employee expense reports and reimbursements
?
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships and contract management
?
Manage e-commerce operations and inventory tracking systems
HR & Culture Development
?
Oversee hiring and onboarding to build a diverse, values-aligned team
?
Cultivate an operational environment that prioritizes well-being, collaboration, and shared leadership
?
Support the development of performance management systems and processes for employee evaluations
?
Plan and manage logistics for staff retreatsCoordinate internal communications and maintain the organizational calendar
Operational Leadership & Efficiency
?
Design and implement systems that enhance organizational efficiency and responsiveness
?
Support compliance with nonprofit, business policies and legal regulations.
?
Collaborate with leadership to set strategic operational priorities that reflect DWP’s mission
?
Manage our physical office space, including coordination with building management and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
