Part-Time Maintenance / Custodial Technician – Direct Hire
Location: Whitewater, Wisconsin
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 16.5 hours per week (33 hours per bi-weekly pay period)
We are currently hiring a dependable and compassionate Maintenance / Custodial Technician for a direct hire role in Whitewater, WI. This is a part-time opportunity with a fixed, non-negotiable schedule. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and supporting a residential care environment.
Schedule (Non-Negotiable):

Every Thursday & Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Every other weekend (Sat & Sun): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Example weekends: June 7–8, June 21–22, etc.
Weekday Responsibilities:

Deliver food cart to Memory Care building using a walk-behind electric cart
-
Remove garbage and recycling
-
Mop kitchen floors and buff floors with floor machine
-
Perform light maintenance and complete any work orders that arise

Spot-clean soiled lounge chairs or carpet messes (e.g., urine, blood, bowel incidents)

Assist with basic TV/cable issues (commonly input selection errors)
Weekend Responsibilities:

Deliver food cart for both noon and evening meals
-
Complete maintenance work orders
-
Light custodial duties and waste removal
-
Pick up dirty linens from Memory Care and return to main laundry
-
Spot-clean furniture or carpet as needed
-
Transport residents to and from church using facility vehicle (Sunday only)

Pick up prescriptions from pharmacy using facility vehicle
-
Deliver lab specimens (e.g., urine samples) to Fort Hospital if needed

Address simple TV/cable issues in resident rooms
Requirements:

Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License

Comfortable with light physical work and custodial tasks

Ability to handle sensitive cleaning situations with professionalism

Friendly and helpful demeanor when interacting with residents
