The anticipated wage for this position is between $24 and $25. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.


Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – IV Compounding
Location: Texas
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends or on-call required)

Certification Requirements:

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification in the state of Texas

  • IV Certification required

  • Compounding experience is mandatory

Position Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Pharmacy Technician with strong IV compounding skills to support daily pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role is vital to ensuring the safe and accurate preparation, packaging, and delivery of medications in accordance with regulatory standards and internal protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare IV medications and compound sterile products under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist

  • Accurately fill prescriptions and enter data into the pharmacy system for billing and reimbursement, in collaboration with the Billing Supervisor

  • Prepackage medications for dispensing, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations

  • Assist pharmacists with the final check of prescriptions, including presenting medications for verification and packaging post-review

  • Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of medications to customers

  • Support inventory management efforts, including receiving, rotating, and labeling medications, and assisting with physical inventory counts

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; assist with equipment maintenance and calibration in accordance with safety standards

  • Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to ensure operational efficiency and compliance

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
