Day to Day:
Physical Therapist will come in and look at the caseload and check the new evaluations that came over during the night.
You will prioritize the evaluations and see those before 9:30am team meeting with case managers, inpatient PT, OT, speech therapy, dietitian, hospitalist, pharmacy and respiratory therapist.
You go through every patient and discuss the level of complexity, the treatment plan, length of stay à great opportunity for the therapist to ask questions or share progress, status, and discharge planning.
If you have a high case load, they will discuss with the outpatient PT and if they have no shows or cancellations, will assist.
Variety of patients à acute type infections, neuro, cardiac events, surgery, orthopedics, GI, any patient that have a mobility issue.
Case load varies, if they have more patients that they can see in a day they reach out to outpatient team provide assistance, or call PRN staff that can come.
Full disclosure à If census is low, there would be a day where flex their hours down as well or they can provide assistance on the floor and have additional hours to work their full 8 hours that day.
Pay and Benefits:
Shift Information:
Part-time shift (3 days- 8hrs/day) – 24 hrs/week
Are open to Full Time as well!
Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Ideal Shift)
You can start either at 8:00am- 4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm – flexibility for hours. Start time is not a deal breaker.
There is an optional shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Pay Details: $40.85 to $53.11 per hour
