Job Summary:
The Plating Team Lead is responsible for supervising plating operations, ensuring consistent quality finishes on jewelry pieces, and managing a small team of plating technicians. This role combines hands-on work with leadership, focusing on process efficiency, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and train the plating team on daily operations and safety procedures.
- Oversee jewelry plating processes (e.g., gold, silver, copper, platinum) and quality checks.
- Monitor chemical concentrations and maintain plating equipment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of production, quality, and maintenance.
- Perform daily bath maintenance of chemical additions and Hull Cell testing.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in jewelry or metal plating; 1+ year in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of electroplating processes and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and maintain consistent product quality.
- Familiarity with safety, chemical handling, and waste disposal standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Pay Details: $56,000.00 to $72,800.00 per year
