Adecco is now hiring a manager for our automated powder coating line. We use both an automated finishing line as well as stationary batch booths.?
This is a supervisory role that also requires hands on work to troubleshoot and maintain the powder coating equipment with the help of our personnel and/or vendors. Hands on work is also required in order to train staff on proper procedures.
This is a full time, non exempt, hourly position with overtime pay. Competitive pay offered for the right experience, as well as bonus opportunities!
Requirements:
Strong supervisory and people skills.
Ability to troubleshoot problems with powder coating application.
Capable of working closely with company management, equipment manufacturers, and vendor representatives to troubleshoot processes, and to maximize performance of equipment and process.
Must be capable of following safety program to ensure safe operation of entire finishing line, and help enforce safety program among the team.
Must have excellent verbal and written skills, be able to keep production records.
Be able to monitor, record, and correct pretreatment chemical levels.
Be able to monitor and correct dry off and curing oven temperatures.
This experience is required:
Working knowledge of
-Conveyor system
-Pretreatment Chemical wash system
-Dry Off and Curing Oven operation Gas with IR
-Efficient Parts hanging techniques
-Proper powder spraying techniques
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Corrected 20/20 vision
Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
Work in ambient temperatures
Able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation
