Adecco is assisting a local client in Lincoln, RI in hiring a Production Supervisor on 1st shift working from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM at a pay rate of between $65,000 and $85,000 per year. This role will lead by example; uphold current and establish new safety standards, monitor and audit safety in the workplace. Communicate with and coach employees on all aspects of teamwork, performance and safe work practices as a top priority. A key aspect of this role is to provide effective leadership, communication and inspiration to achieve ultimate operational objectives. This is a direct hire role.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire plant operation, overseeing all aspects of production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel management.
Develop and implement production plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve operational targets, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production schedules.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, and proactively address any production-related issues or concerns.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing regular updates on plant performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Must have manufacturing experience - Molder Injection Process - Plus
College degree in management, industrial or mechanical engineering technology, or similar. Will consider a combination of college and work experience.
A minimum of five years' experience in production management/continuous improvement roles.
Knowledge production processes (lean, six sigma, DFT).
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Great organizational and time management abilities.
Proven track record of continuous improvement/cost savings projects.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
