Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of production workers to meet production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Operations: Direct and oversee the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers. Provide guidance, training, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet company standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any deviations from quality requirements.

Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, including manpower and equipment, to optimize production output. Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changing demands.

Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment. Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.

Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains. Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall productivity.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with production staff, management, and other departments. Provide regular updates on production status and address any issues or concerns.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of production activities, including production reports, inventory records, and other relevant documentation.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve production-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment malfunctions promptly.

Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production efficiency. Implement strategies to meet or exceed production targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with production software and ERP systems is a plus.
