Here’s a preview of what you’ll be working on as a Production Supervisor:
· Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll be making the magic happen by overseeing the daily operations of both the Injection Molding and Blow Molding production areas in their safe quality food certified facility.
Job summary:
· Supervise production activities to meet schedules, minimize downtime, and maintain quality standards.
· Lead, coach, and support machine operators and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
· Optimize machine settings to improve output, reduce defects, and minimize scrap.
· Troubleshoot equipment, material, and process issues to prevent delays.
· Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product consistency.
· Maintain accurate production and quality records, conduct inspections, and support audits and corrective actions.
· Manage raw material and supply inventory to avoid production interruptions.
· Oversee scheduling, approve time-off requests, and ensure proper shift coverage.
· Report and document safety hazards or incidents, following company policies and maintaining confidentiality.
· Uphold all safety and cleanliness standards to ensure a compliant and safe work environment.
· Assist with month-end reporting and paperwork verification.
Qualifications required:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field is a plus.
· 3–5 years of supervisory experience in injection and/or blow molding production.
· Strong knowledge of SQF standards, GMPs, food safety, and molding processes.
· Skilled in troubleshooting, process optimization, and quality control.
· Able to read technical documents and machine manuals.
· Proficient with ERP systems, production software, and Google Suite.
· Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
· Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and SPC is a plus.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
