Position: Mechanical Dimensional Inspector
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9:30PM - 5:45AM
Pay: $24+/HR plus a 30% shift differential!
Position Summary:
Responsible for the performance of routine mechanical inspections, per the technical documentation
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and investigate/resolve discrepancies found during part inspection.
Locate appropriate programs, load components into inspection equipment, run basic inspection programs, and report results.
Identify features for inspection and correctly assign dimensional values and tolerances specified in print to a given feature.
May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training
Basic proficiency in blueprint reading
Basic understanding of GD&T symbiology
Fluent in setup of simple parts and understanding of proper use of basic mechanical inspection equipment.
Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain work area in accordance with 5S standard.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
