We are currently seeking a skilled, experienced individual who adheres to and supports operating procedures ad company polies. This individual is accountable for performing various Quality Inspection functions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts visual and measurement tests in receiving inspection to ensure incoming product meets Acme’s requirements.
- Perform inspections to established sampling plans, or dock to stock procedures.
- Performs AS9102 first article inspections on new hardware.
- Confirms incoming materials meet material, and all required specifications.
- Develops and maintain DIP (Detailed Inspection Plans).
- Maintains quality records in accordance with required FAA requirements, AS9100 Requirements, and internal ACME procedures.
- Conducts product testing as needed.
- Programs Micro-Vu visual measurement system. Evaluates and verifies Keyence data using manual measurement methods.
- Interface with procurement and engineering to ensure non-conformances are addressed in a timely manner.
- Review/prepare Certificate of Compliance as needed.
- Facilitate material review board activities.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work from electrical drawings, MIL-STD specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Must be proficient at GD&T (Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerance).
- Must be capable of utilizing standard inspection instruments, tools, and gauges.
- Works closely with the Quality and Process Engineering departments and interfaces with all areas of the organization as required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Participate in supplier development and surveillance.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Minimum three to five years of inspection / quality experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- J-STD certification a plus.
- Experience in programming and operation of CMM / Micro-Vu (Coordinate Measuring Machine), is beneficial.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
