Adecco is hiring immediately for Quality Inspectors with one of our Customers in the Pan American/ Americas area. Weekly pay starting at $12 per hour and competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We have 12 hour shift vacancies on both day and night shift!!!
| Job Summary |
| Ensure production meets quality specifications and is produced in compliance with applicable procedures. Perform dimensional and visual part inspection as required by the job packet. |
| Essential Duties & Responsibilities |
1. Perform efficient inspection of parts being produced in the production floor. Includes visual and dimensional inspection in compliance with specified instructions in job packet.
2. Perform routine and non-routine visual inspection of parts from all machines in the cell on a rotational basis including box and lot inspections.
3. Complete lot inspection per AQL requirements or as defined within the specific job packets.
4. Assist in the disposition of product to be reworked or placed on hold for disposition as needed.
5. Performs start up, in-process and last shot inspection.
6. Review daily training for each operation; verify if training id documented on the training log sheet.
7. Communicate quality issues throughout the shift and to the next shift coming on at the transfer meeting.
8. Maintain a safe work environment at all times. Report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor.
9. Contribute to the team effort maintaining good manufacturing practices (GMP) and 6S rating.
10. Understand and use non-conforming material procedure and implement to handle out of specification product.
11. Assist on the root cause and corrective actions of internal rejects as needed.
12. Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
13. Bending or squatting required.
14. Support manufacturing activities as required.
15. Perform any other functions or duties as directed by supervisor. |
