Quality Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available
Type: Temp to Hire
The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet customer expectations and comply with technical specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication across production teams.
Responsibilities

Review production schedules and job tickets to prepare quality checklists

Perform in-process quality checks including roll conformity, packout, and slitting dimensions

Support additional inspections as needed: print quality, color accuracy, lamination bonds, coefficient of friction, gas chromatography analysis, and heat seals

Identify and contain non-conforming materials; communicate findings to operators and shift supervisors

Prepare Certificates of Analysis and support quality documentation

Maintain accurate records and organize retain samples

Assist in problem-solving activities related to product quality

Report safety near misses and participate in food safety and compliance audits

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with production teams
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
