Quality Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available
Type: Temp to Hire

The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet customer expectations and comply with technical specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication across production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedules and job tickets to prepare quality checklists

  • Perform in-process quality checks including roll conformity, packout, and slitting dimensions

  • Support additional inspections as needed: print quality, color accuracy, lamination bonds, coefficient of friction, gas chromatography analysis, and heat seals

  • Identify and contain non-conforming materials; communicate findings to operators and shift supervisors

  • Prepare Certificates of Analysis and support quality documentation

  • Maintain accurate records and organize retain samples

  • Assist in problem-solving activities related to product quality

  • Report safety near misses and participate in food safety and compliance audits

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with production teams



Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
