Upon hire you will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, no weekends required!
Pay Rate: The wage for this position is between $50 and $60. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
What you'll be doing:
Prepare patient for radiologic procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
Prepare medications for, and assist the physician with Fluoroscopic procedures.
Maintain Radiology rooms and stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies
Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
Explain procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Move imaging equipment into specified position.
Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
Assist physicians in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
Measure and prepare medication and contrast media.
Process images and review for proper identification and quality control.
Prepare images for reading by the requesting physician.
Notify the Radiology Manager regarding malfunctions and repairs as needed.
Properly uses EHR to enter CPT codes for billing purposes.
Travel to other clinics if needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technologist Program
ARRT Certification, client open to pending testing
IEMA Certification, client open to pending applications
