I’m working directly with a longstanding landowner and real estate development company based on Maui that is looking to add a Real Estate Development & Asset Manager to their close-knit team.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the responsible development and long-term stewardship of over 22,000 acres of iconic Hawaiian land.
The client has a deep-rooted presence in the community and a growing pipeline of active and potential residential and resort development projects. They’re seeking a candidate who understands the unique challenges and opportunities of developing in Hawai‘i — someone with both the technical background and the community-minded approach to help lead projects from early concept through delivery.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for a real estate development professional with experience in proforma development and analysis, feasibility studies, land entitlements, CPR/subdividing land parcels, land planning, project management, and asset stewardship. You’ll work on everything from financial modeling and proformas to coordinating consultants, assisting with entitlement processes, and supporting project execution.
You’ll work closely with company leadership on long-term land strategy, contributing to how the organization responsibly develops and stewards some of the most meaningful landholdings in the state.
Responsibilities Include:
Running proformas and supporting feasibility studies
Assisting with the entitlement and permitting process for planned developments
Assisting with consultant teams (engineering, planning, architecture, etc.)
Supporting design, construction, and horizontal development phases
Maintaining accurate asset records and ensuring ongoing value
Coordinating with leadership on long-term strategy and land use planning
Engaging with local stakeholders, partners, and officials to ensure cultural and community alignment
Ideal Candidate Has:
3–5 years of experience in real estate development, land planning, or asset management in Hawai‘I
Deep familiarity with Maui’s development and entitlement processes
Strong communication skills and experience managing outside consultants
Comfort with financial modeling, budgeting, and proforma development
A collaborative, respectful approach with an interest in legacy and impact
A background in real estate, business, engineering, planning, or related field
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
