Receiving Inspector – Quincy, MA
Pay Rate: $19.10 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Adecco is currently assisting a local manufacturing company in Quincy, MA in their search for a Receiving Inspector. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing team with a strong reputation in the industry. As a Receiving Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and products using standard measuring tools and equipment.
Verify conformance to specifications, purchase orders, and quality standards.
Document inspection results accurately and clearly in appropriate systems.
Communicate non-conforming materials to appropriate departments and support root cause analysis when needed.
Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in quality control, receiving inspection, or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and technical drawings.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
