Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support our Section 8 and Eligibility Departments in a short-term capacity. This role is essential in helping ensure smooth operations and excellent service to our clients during a high-volume period.
This is a short-term, full-time position starting as early as Friday or Monday, depending on availability. While we can only commit to 30 days at this time, there may be an opportunity to extend the assignment based on department needs. Pay rate is between 18-21 an hour.
Essential Functions of the Job
Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and reviewing paperwork for accuracy and completeness
Assist with client communication via phone and email
Provide courteous and professional customer service to a diverse client base, including low-income individuals, seniors, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness
Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality standards
Use Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and learn new software as needed
Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Comfortable working with the public and providing client support
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
