The "World's Largest Search Engine" is hiring for a temporary position.

Project Overview

The UX Research team currently consists of 4 researchers who conduct foundational and evaluative research, supporting 17 Product Managers. We are experiencing a growing backlog of projects and longer timelines for the projects we are working on.  As the team seeks to properly understand users’ needs and assess new features we need to strengthen our research capabilities. A UXR assistant will help shorten our turnaround rate by completing well-scoped sub-tasks under the guidance of more senior researchers.

Overall responsibilities

The UX Research assistant will provide support to multiple teams, including safety, community, cities, partnerships, and product excellence.  They will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders - product mangers, ux designers, data scientists - to understand their needs and develop research plans. They will complete well-scoped research requests through usability testing and feature launch evaluation. This will improve the user experience of Waze and ensure that our features are meeting user needs.
