Adecco is hiring a Retail Store Manager for our client, located in Richmond. This is a Direct Hire, salaried position.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving store performance, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires a minimum commitment of 50 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example by providing outstanding customer service and training associates to do the same.
Conduct daily competitive gas price surveys.
Complete and transmit daily accounting paperwork by 9 a.m.
Ensure daily bank deposits are made by noon with zero exceptions.
Accurately manage ATM and Lottery funds, making deposits as needed.
Monitor fuel inventory records and report any excessive variations.
Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, and discipline staff, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store.
Manage inventory, placing orders according to company guidelines and conducting regular audits.
Send daily performance reports by 6:30 a.m., seven days a week.
Conduct annual employee performance evaluations.
Verify invoice accuracy and manage vendor relationships.
Implement and oversee company marketing plans to drive sales.
Ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for every customer.
Control inventory shrinkage to .75% of sales or less.
Maintain cash handling accuracy, keeping over/short variances to $150 per month or less.
Audit cashier paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
Uphold store image standards through regular inspections and surveys.
Report maintenance, environmental, and other operational issues promptly.
Schedule staff shifts two weeks in advance and manage payroll hours efficiently.
Ensure security cameras are operational and regularly monitored.
Conduct additional merchandise price surveys as needed.
Provide coverage at other store locations when required.
Hire, train, and mentor an Assistant Manager to ensure smooth operations in your absence.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Pay Details: $36.00 per year
