Adecco is assisting a local food manufacturer in Southern Maine in their search for a Sanitation Specialist. This is a full time, temp to hire position. 

Job Title: Sanitation Specialist
Pay: $23/HR, based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30PM - 5:00AM (3rd Shift)

Position Overview: 

The Sanitation Specialist is responsible to sanitize/clean the facility and production equipment according to the company’s procedures.  This position has a basic understanding of the equipment and equipment’s function along with basic chemical applications awareness and can perform equipment tear downs.  

Primary Responsibilities:
1.    Disassemble, clean and sanitize all manufacturing equipment as required 
2.    Clean and maintain manufacturing environment, and including equipment
3.    Learn and perform change-over and re-assembly of production equipment for next day’s run
4.    Documenting sanitation tasks performed on a day-to-day basis
5.    Maintain cleanliness of work area
6.    Report any conditions or issues that need attention to Sanitation Team Leader
7.    Works safely adhering to all safety procedures.  Wears proper PPE.  Keeps up to date on all information on the MSDS for all cleaning chemicals used in the cleaning process.
8.    Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment, including food safety.
9.    Ability to read and comprehend instructions, SOP’s, MSDS and manuals
10.    Perform other job duties as assigned.
11.    May be required to work flexible hours that may in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
