Adecco is assisting a local food manufacturer in Southern Maine in their search for a Sanitation Supervisor. This is a full time, direct hire position.

Job Title: 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor
Pay: $60,000 base + 15% shift differential, based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30PM-5:00AM (3rd Shift)

Position Overview: 
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment to company and regulatory standards. Directs the work activities of all sanitation personnel. Provides effective and timely communication of manufacturing and/or sanitation concerns. Has an in depth knowledge of equipment and cleaning/chemical applications. 

Primary Responsibilities:
1.    Ensures that all manufacturing equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and assembled according to company cleaning procedures on a daily basis
2.    Direct supervision of sanitation staff including scheduling, performance, safety, discipline, and training
3.    Ensures compliance with electronic and/or paper record-keeping for regulatory and audit purposes
4.    Assists in developing, writing, and implementing cleaning procedures or changes
5.    Follows cleaning procedures and educates, monitors and trains sanitation personnel on cleaning procedures.
6.    Works safely adhering to all safety procedures.  Wears and enforces the proper use of all PPE.  Keeps up to date on all information on the MSDS for all cleaning chemicals.
7.    Able to disassemble and reassemble all equipment. Able to perform bottle changeovers on the lines.
8.    Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate manager.
9.    Recommends ways to improve the cleaning of the equipment and the facility more efficiently.
10.    Communicates with Chemical Supplier Sales Tech on cleaning issues
11.    Provides feedback to appropriate department regarding issues that arise
12.    Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, escalation processes on off shifts, and equipment, including food safety.
13.    Monitors inventory of cleaning chemicals, cleaning supplies, and equipment parts
14.    Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and quality related issues.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $35.00 per hour
