Key Responsibilities (define scope of responsibility):
Review and take ownership of customer technical requirements.
Develop an electrical architecture to satisfy the technical requirements within the constraints of budget, recurring cost, and schedule.
Detailed design and analysis for new circuit or circuit variants including schematic design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for Power Supplies, Battery Chargers and Battery Management Circuits.
Actively participate in product qualification of new products per customer requirements and industry standards such as DO-160, MIL_STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.
Generate sub-assembly and top-assembly acceptance test procedures (ATP).
Resolve technical problems with existing products and new designs.
Perform prototype and qualification unit testing activities.
Participation in software development, verification, testing and documentation per DO-178 is a plus.
Use of simulation software such as Matlab or PSPICE to simulate design concepts.
Generation of engineering documents such as Test Plans and Test Reports.
Supports integration and system testing of hardware and software.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Capabilities (describe scope of knowledge and ability of the position):
Expert knowledge of Analog and Digital Circuits
Familiar with PWM control for AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion.
Strong ability in use lab equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, DAQ, etc.) for troubleshooting or testing.
Able to read and interpret schematics.
Understanding of C/C++ and assembly code for embedded systems is a plus.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Skilled with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Follows Company Policies and Guidelines for engineering design and can recommend/drive process improvements.
Exhibits a High Level of Integrity.

Must have normal range of vision, communicate telephonically/electronically with customers and supported organizations’ team members/leaders.

Must be able to lift documents and work with materials up to 30 pounds in weight.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year
