Our client, Medical Device manufacturer in north Austin seeks a responsible, self-motivated, and energetic person to fill a full-time Production Assembler position. The hours are approximately 8-5 M-F.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble complex electro-mechanical medical products
- Understand assembly drawings and work instructions
- Occasionally operate a 3 axis CNC routing table for plastics
- Ensure proper components are issued and used
- Work with simple fabrication tools in a shop environment that may include drilling, routing, cutting and sanding
- Perform basic soldering for electrical connections
- Consistently meet or exceed assembly time standards
- Complete the required production documents and accurately record lot numbers
- Understand and comply with all documented quality requirements and processes that relate to production department
- Willingness to do other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Must be very detail-oriented
- Must be able to work independently will little instruction
- Must interact well with others and have the aptitude to be an informal resource - Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds - Able to work on your feet for prolonged periods of time
- Must have 3-5 Years’ experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards helpful
