Our client designs and builds high-end custom automation systems for some of the world’s most innovative companies. They specialize in automated processing, mixing, blending, and assembly lines across industries like food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and defense/aerospace.

We are partnering with our client to hire a Service Engineer to support our rapidly expanding U.S. client base. If you have a strong background in PLC troubleshooting, enjoy working hands-on with custom machinery, and like solving problems directly with customers—you’ll thrive here.

  • Work closely with customers and project teams to solve problems, optimize performance, and support smooth equipment handoffs

  • Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), read ladder logic, and identify mechanical issues (no PLC coding required)

  • Handle blending, packaging, and material handling systems used in food, pharma, and aerospace environments

  • Collaborate with engineering teams in India and U.S. project/sales leads for system escalations

  • Learn on the job—every solution is custom, and you’ll pick up new tools and skills from the field

  • Provide basic operator training and submit service reports and client feedback

✅ 3–4 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation or capital equipment
✅ Strong familiarity with PLCs, especially reading/debugging ladder logic
✅ Solid mechanical skills (able to adjust/fix actuators, motors, cylinders, belts, etc.)
✅ Previous customer-facing experience—you know how to communicate clearly on-site
✅ Associate’s degree from a technical or trade school (no 4-year degree required)
✅ Comfortable with 50–60% travel, including overnight stays
✅ Based in the Northeast U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice-to-Haves
