Adecco is currently hiring a Set-Up Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Pinellas Park, FL. This is a full-time, second-shift opportunity offering competitive pay and the chance to grow with an industry leader. As a Set-Up Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automated assembly equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate fully automated assembly machinery to meet production goals.
· Perform machine changeovers.
· Set up, align, and operate assembly machines following work instructions and safety protocols.
· Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
· Complete daily production paperwork and documentation accurately.
· Support preventative maintenance activities.
· Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and identify defects.
· Package and label finished parts according to specifications.
· Rotate between departments and tasks as needed.
· Maintain a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Education:
· Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
· Required: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
· Preferred: Experience in a production setting
Skills & Abilities:
· Ability to lift and transport up to 35 lbs and remain on feet throughout the shift
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Basic computer literacy, including use of handheld scanners
· Strong hand-eye coordination and visual inspection capabilities
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Comfortable working overtime and flexible shifts when required
· Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
