In this role candidates will be responsible for preparing and shipping customers’ orders accurately and in a professional manner. Receiving materials, verifying counts and certs to ensure it matches our vendor and customer purchase orders.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Experience all carriers i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS, and freight providers.
- Move products and materials safely.
- Perform packaging tasks to prepare items for shipment.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and work with inventory control.
- Ensure all packages are properly labeled and packaged for delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving all carriers is a must.
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory counts and order processing.
- Comfortable with computers and Purchase Order tracking software.
- Experience with an inventory control systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in all tasks.
- A valid forklift certification is advantageous but not required.
- Read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work in the US
- Have reliable transportation
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
